The real estate market in Albania is a crucial sector for the country’s economy and has been the focus of most investments for over a decade. The Bank of Albania’s data shows that last year alone, businessmen and individuals from abroad invested over 1 billion euros in Albania, with nearly 55% of the total investment focused on real estate, manufacturing industries, and financial activities. The real estate market was the top spot in terms of investment, with 222 million euros, followed by the manufacturing industry with 200 million euros, and financial activities came third with 166 million euros invested. Investors are mainly drawn to the Albanian coastline, particularly the city of Vlora and the entire Albanian Riviera, which are considered preferred areas for investing in property.
