Vlora Marina and Celim breathe new life into Marigo Pozio Park in Vlora!

Jan 9, 2025 | Blog | 0 comments

Children in the city of Vlora now have access to a new public space where they can spend their free time and enjoy activities with friends. The Marigo Pozio park, located in this coastal city, has been revitalized with the addition of a playground, thanks to the support of the Vlora Marina project. This initiative is a joint effort between the Vlora Marina project and the Celim association, which has developed the park area to include benches and tables alongside the children’s play area.
This new space will benefit both children and the elderly. The creation of a playground adjacent to the park, equipped with benches and tables, is a distinctive aspect of this initiative. It encourages interaction between generations, fostering a harmonious coexistence between young and old. This setup also promotes the transmission of history, culture, and rich traditions from the elderly to the children.
Vlora Marina has consistently focused on culture, art, the environment, and education through various social projects this year. This commitment helps preserve and promote the rich heritage and history of Vlora, a city projected to be one of the most visited destinations in 2024, with an anticipated increase of nearly 25% in visitors compared to the previous year.
A significant contribution to promoting culture came through the sponsorship of the 16th edition of the Aulona Inter Folk Festival. This cultural event has become a tradition, transforming Vlora into an international hub for culture and folklore for several days each year. Furthermore, recognizing the importance of art and beauty as core values of the country, Vlora Marina also supported the third edition of the International Dance Festival, which has grown into a well-established tradition. This event plays a vital role in promoting Albania’s cultural heritage on the international stage. Thanks to events like these, Albania is increasingly recognized not only for its natural beauty but also for its rich traditions, history, and culture.
